Chair Yoga
This is a wonderful yoga class for anyone who is looking for a gentle therapeutic form of yoga.  A chair is used for the entire class as participants are guided through a full yoga experience.  The body is opened from head to toe with emphasis on the breath, increasing strength, coordination and ending in a seated meditation/relaxation.

Yogilates for the Back

Yoga is an excellent therapy for healing sore and injured back muscles, reducing recovery time, preventing re-injury, and creating proper body alignment and good posture.  Pilates is an exercise program that focuses on the core postural muscles that help keep the body balanced and are essential to providing support for the spine.  Learn yoga postures and Pilates based exercises to ease back pain or conditions, by stretching and strengthening the muscles of the body.  Handouts with gentle routines and exercises will be provided at each class.  This is a recommended class for those suffering from back pain, osteoporosis or osteoarthritis, scoliosis, herniated disks, spinal stenosis and sciatica.

Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki treatment works on the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being.  Reiki has been effective in helping virtually every known illness, disease or ailment and always creates a beneficial effect. This is a wonderful treatment to use in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. 

Meditation 101
Learn to de-stress and feel great!  Join this guided class and learn how to achieve a personal practice of your own.  A regular practice will help to reduce stress levels, lower blood pressure and cholesterol levels, calm the mind, increase relaxation, help with pain management, and bring more productivity and joy into your life. In fact, meditating for half an hour provides more psychological rest than a full night’s sleep!
